How to request data deletion

To request deletion of your data, contact our office by text or phone:

Once we receive your request, we’ll verify your identity, review your records, and respond within 7 business days with what we hold and what we can delete.

If you’ve never worked a shift

We delete all of the personal data associated with your account — including your name, contact details, account preferences, and payout and bank information.

If you’ve worked a shift

When you’ve worked one or more verified, paid shifts, the law requires us to keep certain employment and financial records (such as tax and payroll records) for a period of time. In those cases, we:

• Immediately remove your most sensitive identifiers — Social Security number, date of birth, driver’s license, and bank account and routing numbers — and disable your login credentials.
• Retain the remaining records (such as your name, contact information, and work and payment history), isolated from active use, only for as long as the law requires — after which they are deleted.
• Tell you exactly what we hold and when each item becomes eligible for deletion.

Data held by our partners (Checkr & Branch)

To run background checks and process payments, we work with two service providers: Checkr and Branch. When you ask us to delete your data, we remove or anonymize the information we hold that is associated with these partners. However, Checkr and Branch keep their own records under their own privacy policies, so a request to delete the data they hold must be sent to them directly:
